BAGS OF LOVE FOOD PROGRAM

Bags of Love provide meals to elementary school children with a nutritious alternatives on the weekends.  Children at risk of weekend hunger receive a bag of food that is child-friendly, nutritious, non-perishable and easy to eat.  Partnering with local schools, Bags of Love are distributed every Friday so that children have meals for the weekend.

 

HOPE AND HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Hope and Holiday is pleased to provide a Merry Christmas to vulnerable families in our local area.  We spread Christmas cheer each holiday season with gifting families with clothing and Christmas toys.  This gives the gift of hope and relief to low-income families who need it most at Christmas time.

 

H.Y.P.E (HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE EXCEL) PROGRAM

H.Y.P.E. Back to School program helps prepare children to succeed academically by providing them with lifeskills and supplies they need for the upcoming school year. It is also helps families avoid the financial burden of an already stressed budget. Annually, we distribute over 500 backpacks to low income families living in our local area.

 

UBU (SELF-ESTEEM PROGRAM)

UBU’s main objective is to help our youths understand the importance of healthy self-esteem and to find their personal value.  This program address topics surrounding our young people’s social, digital and wider world. We bring them to light in a manner so our youth feel empowered, educated and supported as they advance down an often-challenging school journey.  We offer them both basic personal development skills as well as relationship skills—skills they can use in all areas of their lives and for a lifetime.
